Salt Shakers provides an evening of fun, fellowship, and good food in someone’s home. A coordinator assigns groups of people and a host, and the group arranges a time that will suit everyone. Participants are rotated over the course of the year so that people are able to meet and fellowship with as many different members of the congregation as possible. You do not need to serve as a host in order to participate.
Presbyterian Experienced Teachers at Lunch was organized for congregants who have retired from a career in education to gather for a monthly lunch while supporting the educators currently in service. All who have been in education in any form are invited to join. The lunch venue changes but what remains the same is good fellowship, stories of the past, visions for the future, strengthened friendships, and lots of laughter!
Annual Event in January
This weekend retreat is a time for women to connect and share warm fellowship. The first retreat was to provide a time for adult women to join together to learn more about each other while providing a time for spiritual growth. The purpose continues to be the same today.
Annual Event in February
This retreat is a time for the men of the church to deepen their relationship with God and build community with each other. During our time together, we explore different aspects of our faith and consider how what we believe impacts our lives. We gather in a relaxed setting on the beach, and enjoy grilling out, exciting activities, and opportunities for rest and reflection. The food is always good, but the fellowship is better. Join us for an amazing weekend.
