That’s taste. That’s the taste of my childhood..'” (Pat Conroy\, “Prince of Tides”) \nIt’s that time of year again! Sharron Kendall on behalf of the Salt Shaker Ministry where we break bread in one another’s homes for good food and warm fellowship is happy and excited to announce that our annual church-wide Oyster Roast is scheduled for Friday\, February 27\, 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The oysters will be prepared and provided in the fellowship area where our picnic tables are located on the southside of the church campus. Chili\, Soup and Hot Dogs will also be available. DESCRIPTION:In every corner of the world\, a decent home changes everything. Barbara Thomas joins the Global Village Team in El Salvador. Volunteers will assist Habitat El Salvador’s project\, Building Hope\, to impact 36 families with new permanent housing and 24 more with home improvements\, such as new roofing\, flooring and home extensions. Volunteers will help a building contractor and local volunteers build new homes made with concrete blocks\, steel reinforcement\, glass shutter windows\, metal doors and cement tiles.
