DESCRIPTION:February 23-25\nThe Charleston Atlantic Youth Council is excited to announce a retreat for all high school youth for February 23-25 at the Bethelwoods Conference Center\, York\, South Carolina. Cost for the weekend is $100. Susan Seckinger and Rebecca Angelo have additional information regarding the weekend schedule\, cabin assignments\, and necessary covenant forms to be signed at registration. They are also available to answer any questions you may have. Hayes Daughtery and Garrett  Seckinger serve on the Youth Council and encourage all of our high school youth to attend this weekend of Christian fellowship and spiritual growth.

DESCRIPTION:Lenten Study\nBegins February 21\nA Lenten devotional the “Hope of Easter” featuring scripture readings from the gospel of John will be available for study. The Kirk Night Kitchen Crew will provide at 5:30 supper beginning February 21\, which will continue through March 27. We gather in small groups\, 6:15 to 7:00 PM. Youth are invited to join one of the small groups. Children pre-K – 1st grade will enjoy a special program and children 2nd through 8th grades will prepare for the spring musical and share in their own Lenten Study. Childcare will be provided for children under four.

This program developed by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the National Response Team covers surrounding awareness\, understanding human behavior\, addressing people who may want to hurt others\, first aid basics\, strategies for surviving violent intruder situations\, security roles of ushers and greeters\, \nThe workshop is free and includes lunch\, beverages and snacks.
