Join us for the second year as we build mangers and hear the Christmas story. Dads (or granddads) and kids are invited to the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, December 3, 9-noon. (Moms get the morning off!) Donuts, coffee, juice and materials will be provided – just bring a hammer (or two)! Roy Nicka will lead the event. A sample manger is on display in the Narthex.
Two ways to participate this year:
* Build a manger and take it home ($15)
* Buy a manger built by the MADD kids ($15 +donation)
As a community service project this year, the MADD kids (3rd-5th grade) will be building extra mangers to sell. All proceeds fronm the mangers will go to Kijabe Hospital in Kenya (in support of our mission partners, Andy and Mardi Steere). Mangers will be sold for $15 (covers cost of materials) plus a donation amount of your choosing. (A one night hospital stay for a child costs $30) Preorder for these mangers is REQUIRED
PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED BY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2016.
Checks can be made to SIPC with “Manger Build” in the memo. Payment and order/participation form can be given to Roy or Katie Nicka or placed the offering plate. Questions can be directed to Roy Nicka at firstname.lastname@example.org or 843-252-7580.
