Children and Youth Ministry
As youth and adults, we respond to God’s call through the Holy Spirit to be connected to each other, the church, and the world so that our lives proclaim with joy that Jesus Christ is Lord!
Children and youth are a vital part of the family of God and an important part of the community of faith at Sea Island Presbyterian Church. SIPC believes that to nurture our children and youth as they grow in faith, the whole family should feel welcomed, supported, and challenged. That is why our family ministries include opportunities for study, fellowship, and service and every age level. Whether your children are in preschool or high school, they and you will find resources and a community that helps you and your family grow as faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
Kirk Night Classes
On Wednesday nights, many children participate in church choirs. Those children who do not wish to join a choir can learn and express their faith creatively on in the multi-age FaithWeaver Friends class. FaithWeaver Friends uses a combination of storytelling, creative activities, and journaling to help children build a strong relationship with God, with adults, and with other kids.

Children's Church
All children are welcomed and encouraged to worship together with their family. However, during the 10:30 am worship service, Sea Island provides a “children’s church” where children under age five can experience an age-appropriate lesson during the second half of Sunday morning worship. In addition, a nursery is available for infants during the entire 10:30 service in Room 205.
Vacation Bible School
June 27-30, 2011!
Join us for BACKSTAGE WITH THE BIBLE. This year's theme focuses on teaching children Bible basics in a fun rock-concert style.
VBS is for children age 4 through rising 6th graders. VBS begins at 5:00pm each evening with dinner, followed by storytime, crafts, and music. Cost is $15/child and includes a T-shirt and dinner.

SIPC Day School
The Sea Island Presbyterian Day School provides Christian education for children age 2- preK. The Day School curriculum is created to the developmental needs of its children, recognizing the uniqueness of each child and striving to meet his or her individual needs.
