Drama Ministry

Drama Ministry meets at 4:00 on Sunday’s right before PYC. Our prayer is that while we are having fun, we will also be helping youth use their spiritual gifts to minister to each other as well as our congregation through the performances. Youth with many different gifts can participate not only by acting but in writing, costume and set design, and publicity. Plus, drama builds self-esteem and improves team work. What gifts can you share?

Drama Ministry has wrapped up for the winter/spring season. Will be back in the fall.

Venue: Fellowship Hall

Date & Time: Sundays, 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Souper Bowl of Caring

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a nation-wide event that utilizes Super Bowl weekend to mobilize youth to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities. This year, on Super Bowl Sunday (February 6) SIPC's junior high youth host a soup luncheon after worship. They will collect donations to benefit HELP of Beaufort. Bring your donations to worship on Sunday, February 6, and stay for a bowl of soup! We hope this year will be bigger and better than ever!

Operation SERVE

Operation Serve is our annual fundraiser and day of service. Our mission is to provide a helping hand doing things like painting, planting flowers, yard work, cleaning gutters, babysitting and much more for those who need a little help. We also work with our mission partners like CAPA and TLC Ministries.

We use this project as a fundraiser by mailing letters to church members and friends asking for their support. By doing this, those being served do NOT have to make a donation to receive our services. All students are challenged with raising money that will help our ministry to continue to offer scholarships, and also reduce the cost of trips like Salkehatchie Mission Trip and the Winter Ski retreat.

Venue : All across Beaufort

Time : October 2011, watch for more information!
