Rev. Evalyn Wakusama
We will hear from Rev. Evalyn Wakusama during both worship services about her work with Nambale Magnet School in Kenya. Evalyn studied for her Master of Divinity degree at the Yale Divinity School. In 2009, she started a pioneer class that later developed into an educational facility that currently provides 250 children housing, education and hope.

Our congregation is a diverse mix of people, but we all share a common calling to follow Christ and to live the Jesus Way.
We welcome all into our family of faith, receiving any neighbors who come searching for community as well as Christian sanctuary. At Sea Island Presbyterian Church, you can expect warm Christian fellowship with people who are glad to be together. Our church family worships with joy, unified in Christ through traditional expressions of faith. We follow the liturgical seasons of the year using the lectionary readings for the day to help us listen more closely to the voice of Christ. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We are always glad when others join us!
