Giving at Sea Island

Giving at Sea Island

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Called to be a Generous People

In gratitude for God’s grace, we share our resources of time, talent, and treasure for the purpose of building up God’s kingdom on earth. There are many biblical models for sharing our resources, but in every case, the Scriptures are clear: God’s people are called to live with gratitude and generosity. Your gifts to SIPC are used for the work of the gospel in Beaufort and beyond.

Why we give

Sea Island Presbyterian Church is an amazing place! We have a caring congregation and do amazing things through our programs, music and missions. The church belongs to all of us and we enjoy the many opportunities provided to us through this family of faith. We have the joy of knowing that our work is positively influencing the lives of our children and making a difference for “the least of these” in our community and world.

We all can make a difference

Discipleship, though, means that we not only receive what the church provides but also give what the church needs. The good news for us is that we are all capable of making a difference in the lives of many people and most certainly are able to live a life that is full and rich through the many blessings we receive. We also have at our fingertips the ability to find joy in the simple act of giving.

Faithful Stewardship

Stewardship is not a Sunday when we make a pledge, but part of our life throughout the entire year. It constantly reminds us that we not only cherish being a member of our church, but also support our church through our gifts of time, talents, and financial treasures.
