Elders and Deacons are called to ministry from the congregation at Sea Island Presbyterian Church.
Our Congregational Leaders join in a prayer before leading worship.
Elders
SIPC is guided by a Council of Elders elected from the Congregation.
As spiritual leaders at Sea Island, Elders help lead worship services and serve communion. Elders also assist with financial and business matters of the church operations and facilities. Elders serve three-year terms on the Session Board.

Deacons are elected to provide compassion, witness, and service to the congregation
As servant leaders at Sea Island, Deacons facilitate church services and programs and help lead during worship. Deacons reach out to church members in their network of care to provide support and prayer. Deacons serve three-year terms on the Diaconate.
