Welcome
Through the years, the doors of Sea Island have been open to visitors and guests, friends and neighbors, seekers and “nones” (a new category of folks who do not identify with any one faith tradition) in the spirit that all of us are God’s children, and whether we realize it or not, a significant portion of life is devoted to searching for a place we can call our spiritual home.

Sea Island is not a perfect community of faith, but it is a church family of “ragamuffins” that is thankful for its history as a new church development of the Charleston Atlantic Presbytery, and a congregation that is always ready to celebrate the present and embrace the future in the context of God’s grace in Jesus Christ.

Inquirer’s Class, June 5 & 12, 9:30 to 10:20 am
For Inquirers and recent new members: Come and learn about the history of Sea Island, beliefs associated with the Presbyterian Family, and how we do the work, ministry and mission of the church within the body of Christ. Will Donovan and Steve Keeler are facilitating the workshop and look forward to welcoming you! We will gather in Room 206 of the Christian education wing.

Faith Formation Sunday Mornings, 9:30 to 10:20 am
As we transition into summer, church families are traveling visiting family and friends, enjoying recreational opportunities like the beach that are available in the low country, and attending the Worship & Music Conference and the annual Youth Conference at the Montreat Conference Center in North Carolina. For the months of June and July, an adult small group will continue to meet in Room 208, 9:30 to 10:20 am, exploring themes related to the Christian faith. Please know that you are welcome to join us. Children and youth small groups will begin again in August.

Wee Kirk Night
Begins this Wednesday, June 8, 6:00 to 7:30 pm
If you find mid-week fellowship and a rich round table discussion related to the Christian faith and issues of theology appealing, you might find Wee Kirk Night to be something you’re looking for. Meeting in Room 208, you bring your favorite sandwich and we’ll provide the soup (delicious by the way.) We will then launch into current events of the day guided by the wisdom of the Psalms.

Children’s Church
Children’s Church is available for children ages 4 thru 11 and offered at both services. Please contact Clara Partridge at 843.252.6199 if you would like to learn more about this ministry and the possibility of serving as an adult leader and volunteer.

Registration sheets are available in the office reception area, the Gathering Room, and online via kaykeeler52@gmail.com. All are welcome!
