2023 Scotland Trip
Monday, 5:30 pm
An informal meeting is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon for those who have registered for the trip beginning May 22, those who are planning to make the trip but have not yet registered, and those who are thinking about the possibility of traveling with our church group. Conversation will include such things as how and what to pack, passports, travel insurance, itinerary, and how this particular destination informs our faith and influences the life and mission of the Sea Island Presbyterian Church.
Christmas Pageant & Supper
Sunday, December 18
Our children are presenting the story of the Nativity on Sunday evening, December 18. Prior to the beginning of the pageant, scheduled for the sanctuary at 6:30 pm, a prime rib supper with potato and tossed salad will be served in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:30 pm. Proceeds and donations from the supper will support our children’s participation at the 2023 Montreat Worship & Music Conference. For planning purposes, reservations are accepted in the Narthex, Office Reception area, or by calling 843.525.0696.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion
December 24, 5:00 pm
Sea Island will celebrate one Christmas Eve service beginning at 5:00 pm. In addition to singing Christmas Carols, hearing the gospel story of Christ’s birth, and breaking bread and sharing the cup of our Lord, we will light our respective Christmas candles as we sing, “Silent Night, Holy Night!” One 10:30 am worship service is scheduled for Christmas and New Year’s Day. The New Year is upon us!
