Through the generosity of a Sea Island Family, a College Scholarship Fund was established several years ago for youth members of Sea Island. Applications are available in the Church Office. The scholarships are available for students who have been accepted to a college or university in state and out of state. Historically, Presbyterians have been on the front line in establishing and supporting institutions of higher learning. Rising high school seniors and parents are advised to consider exploring Presbyterian College, Clinton, SC. “Nice” scholarships are available for youth who are members of a Presbyterian Church in the PC (USA). Home is the place where we feel most comfortable, loved, and protected, but what if your roof leaks in the storms or your feet fall through the cracked floors or your front steps are dangerously wobbly? We are one week away from hosting this wonderful group of youth and adults. Get ready because here they come!

Stewardship & Proper Care of our Buildings and Campus

Our two property committees continue to render close attention to both our church campus (Asher Howell & Volunteers) ) and church facilities (Van Horton & Volunteers) with the intent of caring for that which has been consecrated and dedicated to the Glory of God.

In the last two weeks, the ice machine in the kitchen has been repaired and new ladder providing access to the attic in the Christian education wing has been installed. JCB Roofing out of Savannah, GA provided new shingles for the roof areas of our Christian education wing, the Fellowship Hall, and the Administration Wing.

We remain grateful for all of our volunteers who invest their time and energy as carpenters, electricians, landscapers, painters, and plumbers ensuring proper care of what God has given us and providing a public witness of stewardship within the physical realm of life.
