Sunday Evenings at Sea Island
For Children, Youth & Parents, Begins September 15

We begin this new cycle of ministry with a cookout, games, a devotion, and fellowship. We will also receive information about the schedule for the year regarding lock-ins and retreats. The fellowship on Sunday evenings with our children and youth is intended to help them grow and mature in the faith, to help them know Jesus Christ.

Wednesday Kirk Night
September 18: Supper & Small Groups

A new 6-week study begins with a book study on “The 4:8 Principle led by Julie Mabe. Based on Philippians 4.8 it seems fitting at this time when our world is so politically divided and angry. Our time together will help us clear our heads with God’s positivity. Pastor Steve will also lead a review of several theological understandings of the Bible as they relate to life and faith. Registration for supper and the classes will be available beginning August 25 (Next Week).

Safe Haven; After School Tutoring Ministry

Working with students primarily enrolled at Lady’s Island Elementary School, volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Volunteers work with children of single parents or grandparents helping with homework, tutoring and so much more. Please consider joining us for one or two afternoons a week for one, two, or three hours a day. Sign up sheets are located in the Narthex, gathering Room, and Office Reception Area. +

College & University Students – Fall Semester

Classes have begun, books purchased, professors are lecturing, reading assignments passed out, and space carved out for rest and study in the library as our young people adjust to a new rhythm and expectations. Each college student in the life of Sea Island is receiving a liaison from the congregation who has volunteered to pray for their assigned student. Our students have also been encouraged to find a Bible study on campus and a church nearby where they can worship and feel connected to a community of faith while they are away from home. +
