Walk for Water, September 13

It is estimated that 2 billion people have limited access to clean water and at most just 5 gallons of water a day for their entire family’s washing, cooking and cleaning. But we can help change that. Sea Island Presbyterian Church is a Platinum Supporter of Water Mission’s Beaufort County Walk for Water. You are invited to join the Sea Island team to help us raise awareness and money to provide sustainable water systems for those in desperate need. We will join others in our community in about a 3 mile walk to symbolize the sometimes dangerous walk of millions of women and children make every day for water that’s often contaminated.

Register by September 13 to get a T Shirt and a $5 discount. Visit walkforwater.com/beaufort and click “Register” on the home page.
