In every corner of the world, a decent home changes everything. Barbara Thomas joins the Global Village Team in El Salvador. Volunteers will assist Habitat El Salvador’s project, Building Hope, to impact 36 families with new permanent housing and 24 more with home improvements, such as new roofing, flooring and home extensions. Volunteers will help a building contractor and local volunteers build new homes made with concrete blocks, steel reinforcement, glass shutter windows, metal doors and cement tiles.
