Friends,

Greetings. With Christmas Eve and Christmas Day only a matter of days away, we find meaning and hope once more in the wisdom of the Psalmist, “Happy are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance.” (Psalm 89.15)

As we journey with the Holy Family to the tiny town of Bethlehem and prepare to rejoice in the birth of the Christ-Child, we are invited to worship together as a church family in two services this coming Sunday . . .

Sunday Morning Worship

Preparing as a community of faith to lift our hearts in the celebration of worship on Christmas Eve, please be advised that there will be NO early morning service. We will gather at 10:30 for one morning worship service and hear the gospel story about an angel by the name of Gabriel announcing to Mary, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”

Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion

Keeping pace with shepherds running to Bethlehem to see what the Lord has made known by way of an angel, and finding Mary and Joseph, and the child lying in a manger, please keep in mind that the 5 o’clock Candlelight Communion Service will include a special feature which I would venture to say you and I have never witnessed before in a Christmas Eve Service and in all likelihood will never see again in our lifetime.

May the joy and peace of Christmas be with you. Amen +
