A Trip to Montgomery & Selma
November 7-9, 2024 • Departs 8 am, Returns 8 pm
This trip is arranged and planned by our church neighbors at St John’s Lutheran Church.
Our purpose: to journey together as people of varied races, explore our history of racial division, reflect through the lens of faith, and grow in our ability to be in. community together across the lines of race that have divided us.
This trip will include:
Montgomery
The Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace & Justice
Selma
The Edmund Pettus Bridge
Other stops will be added to the itinerary. Possible stops include:
Civil Rights Memorial Center, Freedom Rides Museum, Rosa Parks Museum, etc.
Cost per person:
Double occupancy $379 – Single Occupancy $492
Open to adults and middle/high school youth accompanied by an adult.
Includes charter bus transportation, 2 nights hotel lodging, 5 meals, & entrance to museums.
Three meals on the road will be paid for individually.
