Family Promise provides shelter and support to families withouta place to call home. As a host congregation, SIPC becomes their home for one week each quarter. Families eat dinner and sleep at the church, accompanied by volunteers who prepare meals and spend the night. During the day, children go to school or daycare, and parents either go to work or utilize the Family Promise Day Center in Bluffton to look for work or further their education.Volunteers are needed for set up, hosting, clean up, and laundry.
