Christian Sympathy

Herbert Woodhull Jarvis, Mt. Pleasant, SC, former resident of Dataw Island, and faithful member of Sea Island, entered the Church Triumphant on March 10, 2025 one day after celebrating his 100th Birthday. The inurnment of “Herb’s ashes” in the Sea Island Columbarium, which he developed and supported, is pending.

Heather Titmus, Jenison, Michigan, friend of the Dievendorf Family, entered the Church Triumphant on March 12, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. In a time of loss and grief, may Heather’s family and her many friends abide in the peace and resurrection hope of Jesus Christ.

Wedding Blessings

Luke Miller (son of Aaron and Karen Miller) and Sarah Geisler exchanged wedding vows last Saturday afternoon in a beautiful setting on Lady’s Island as they looked out over a low country marsh. A Stephen Minister is available in the sanctuary following the 8:30 and 10:30 worship services for anyone desiring a listening ear and a prayer of support and encouragement in a time of special need and care. +

These two conferences continue to influence and nurture our young people in their faith and relationship with Christ. We are happy to report that Sea Island has (22) college & university students currently enrolled both in and out of state. Each student has received a kind neighbor within the congregation who has offered to correspond so our young people remained connected to our community of faith and the body of Christ.
