Nominating Committee
Craig Norris, Elder, is chairing this year’s Nominating Committee with members Kerry Bunton, Brian Chapman, Johanne Golcher, and Debbie Mitchell. A list of nominees for the office of Elder and Deacon should be available later in the week.
Reformation Sunday
This Sunday we will remember people like Martin Luther, John Calvin, and John Knox who brought change to the Church and how Christians read and understand the Book. Luther lit the fire of the Reformation in Wittenburg. The flame of reformation continued to spread by way of Calvin in Geneva and Knox in Edinburgh, and eventually around the globe. A bagpiper will be visiting with us and as is our custom, we will gather in the Courtyard for mimosas and a toast giving thanks for those who have served Christ and the gospel as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and embrace the future.
Trunk-or-Treat
You are invited to join us next Sunday for TRUNK-OR-TREAT at 5:30 pm. Decorate your trunk in the most creative way and enjoy passing out your treats along with seeing all of the SPOOKTACULAR costumes! The more trunks, the more fun! (If you plan to decorate, please arrive early to allow enough time before event starts, as the parking lot will be closed off by 5:20 for safety purposes.)
