Update on our Friend and Parish Associate, Charles Kalmbach
Following his heart attack two weeks ago, Charles is resting in Princeton, NJ with Susan at his side and plans to return home to Spring Island when he is given the okay to travel. We are grateful to God for his good and steady recovery.

Patricia Rice, Dataw Island, SC, a long-time member of Sea Island and active in the Presbyterian Women, entered the Church Triumphant on October 23, 2024. «You O Lord. have saved my soul from death and I will walk before you the land of the living.” (Psalm 116)
Looking Ahead
Steve and Kay Keeler are scheduled to travel to Rome, Italy tomorrow for two weeks where they will visit the American Overseas School of Rome and the St Andrews Church of Scotland, Rome. Reformation Sunday
Protestant churches around the globe are celebrating today the mission and work of the Reformation which caught fire at the beginning of the 16′ century and changed the world as it provided necessary amendments to how churches worshipped, operated and functioned. People like Martin Luther, John Calvin, and John Knox come to mind as they supported the men and women sitting in the pew and provided them with a place at the table by way of leadership and governance.
Trunk or Treat

5:00 to 6:30 pm
You are invited to find a spot in the parking lot this afternoon and decorate the trunk of your car or truck for our annual “Trunk or Treat’ or help to decorate and pass out candy from one of the classrooms located in the Christian Education Wing. The church is delighted to open the campus to our young people for a time of fun in a safe environment.
